Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, Rotorua

There are few thermal lands in Rotorua, we choosed to visit Wai-O-Tapu after reading some info and visitors' commend.  It is slightly far from town compare to Te Puia. Weather was good, occasionally drizzling, we strolling along the land and let the sulfur smoked us for hours...Not much big surprise but still a good experience :)
Arrived before 10am to see the Lady Knox geyser eruption @ 10.15am. Nobody was there when we arrived...

I thought it was natural phenomenon that the geyser will erupt everyday by 10.15am...hehe... but actually it was because of the staff put some soap like thing inside the geyser that make her 'puke'... :P

The bridge that allowed me to walk through the thermal pond is one of the reason that attracts me here. It's kind of a different experience...

If the weather can be of better, this champagne pool would be able to seen much more clearer. But I still like the colour of it... maybe because I love champagne? :P

Pine wood in the thermal land, the path was not to long but kind of missing it...

I used to coloured the mushroom with this colour when I was young, and now that I've seen the real one....

Bypassing the champagne pool again when we are on the way out, the sky was drizzling by now...

Mud Pool, shall be very hot eh?

The mud pool, geyser and the thermal land has a certain distance that you may want to drive from one point to antoher ...

The colored mushroom looks like lollipop. Wow a very steamy place to visit like in fairy land and we have fairies crossing the pond haha. Love the pine wood trees straight, solid and tall. tQ.
