来蒲种‘炭世界’吧!Carbon Brasa @ Bdr Puchong Jaya

这是近期蒲种的新大陆~炭世界!呵呵。。。我问老板,你这里的小炒啊,面啊,饭啊,都是用炭炒的?他说,不是啦,是烧烤类才用炭。。。呵呵,不过啊,即使不是用炭炒,味道也很出色哦。来看看 ;)

This is the newly discover 'new world' in puchong ~ Carbon Brasa :P  Hehehe... I asked the boss, eh your fried noodle, rice, and the rest of the stuff all use charcoal one ah?? He said no lah, only those BBQ stuff we usae charcoal, hehe.. but then even not using charcoal, most of the dishes are still very tasty! Lets take a look.

广府炒锅气十足,XO炒面味道适中,饮品不错,炸苏东还好,和一般的有点不一样,
有些许蒜头辣椒搭配哦。最最最好吃的数那南乳炸鸡翼,腌的非常入味,
炸得香脆但肉质依然多汁。全都很棒哦!
The Canton style noodle and X.O fried noodle all very tasty, very good 'wok chi'. The fried squid not bad with some garlic & chili on top. Drinks are all ok so far, the best is the 'nam yu' fried chicken wings! It is just so tasty and the meat are still very juicy! It's a must try finger food!

炸春卷‘麻麻’而已,都是妈妈的最好吃。下图是炸豆腐,还不错。
最好吃的就是那福建炒!焖的透透的而且渗透着猪油渣的香味,一定要试!
中图是干娘惹面,有点酸酸的很开胃,也很不错!
The spring roll so so only, fried tofu (bottom of the picture) not bad. The best is the Hokkien Noodle!
Many people come here for this, its a must try noodle! First time tasted the Dried Nyonya Noodle, bit of sour taste so its kind of good for the appetite.

干炒牛荷,也不错但是觉得牛肉的味道稍微淡了点。
Dry fried noodle with beef. Not bad also but the beef can be a bit more salty...

刨冰也是超湛的,不太甜,也吃到果味,我们每次都有点哦。
Alright this shaved thin ice is awesome! It is not too sweet and taste just nice!
Must try!

这是店家送给我们试食的。一试就爱上了。。。
试过青柠檬味的也不错哦
This one FOC for us to try out...hehe... once tried, we just fall in love with it...
Note: Can try the lime taste also not bad


有机会可以试试,我个人是觉得不错啦而且价钱又不会太贵,是个很不错的地方。。。
Can try out if you were somewhere around, it is not pricy and yet tasted good, quite a nice place for family and friends hang out also...

Kikyo Japanese Restaurant @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

注:这是去年的聚餐。。。

大概6、7年前在这里用过餐之后就再也没有踏足此店了,不是不好吃,而是那时觉得有点贵啦,份量又小。不过那么多年它竟然幸存下来,证明了它有其可取之处(不是诅咒,而是蒲种太多吃的店了。。。)

这次我的老友记提议来这里吃它的自助餐(任点那个),一个人三十多元,很不错哦,除了价钱,它的味道也很令我意外,有些我们还重复点呢!不错,不错 :)

Haven't been here for 6-7 years after the first trial, its not because of it taste not good, simply because that particular time I felt its a bit costly with the small portion of it. But then hor, after so many years this shop is still around (not cursing, simply because Puchong has too many restaurant...), means there is something in it that keep them up and running. 

My schoolmate proposed to belanja me birthday dinner here, so here we are! Surprisingly the price is good, the food is good too! Only 30++/pax for the buffet dinner! (sorry forgot the exact price) Worth the money :)


室内装潢还蛮舒服的,我的两位老友记。。。
The ambience is pretty nice, my two old buddies...hehehe

新鲜好吃哦 Fresh and delicious

这寿司让我意外,因为我觉得它很好吃叻,不输给名贵餐厅的!(个人认为啦)
These sushi surprised me! As they were surprising good and delicious! Can beat the expensive restaurant oh (personally I felt so la)

这两个也是超棒的!尤其是那个带子,好吃哦!
These 2 were fantastic as well! Especially the scallop, damn nice!
美味! Yummy yummy :)

那三颗冰淇淋味道很浓哦,一定要试,不过喜不喜欢就很个人了。呵呵。。。
The ice cream is a must try stuff! Because the taste is strong and special,
but whether u like it or not then it's different story ok :P

阿洪生虾鱼头米粉 A-Hong Fish Head Noodle

就在IOI Boulevard广场对面,招牌大大的,蛮容易找,如果没有停车位就索性泊在Boulevard的停车场好了,反正近的很,又便宜。好不好吃?个人认为是很棒的,基本上只有一位朋友有‘意见’,其他的都讲很不错哦,价钱又漂亮,试一试就知道。。。

It's just located right opposite IOI Boulevard, and is easy to spot because its RED! How does it taste? It tasted fantastic to me at reasonable price, so far only one friend give negative comment, guess its very much depends on individual preferences lo.

如果没记错好像只有一个‘外援’在店面帮忙,都是一群阿伯阿妈在劳动操刀哦。 
If not mistaken there is only an 'expat' helping out here, all running by the Ah Pa & Ah Ma here... 
这猪肉饼,看它平平无奇,味道还真的很不错。。。
Pork pancake, looks normal but tasted good!


生虾鱼头米粉,超级新鲜可口!酒味会比较浓郁,可能会有人吃不习惯,我是蛮喜欢的。。。
Fresh prawn fish head noodle, super nice! Taste of the wine might be slightly heavier, but personally I like it lo :)

This is the plain fish head noolde (taken with different phone camera @ different time :P)  It is just so fresh & meaty! No fishy smell at all!
双滑(猪肉和鱼滑)米粉,汤熬得浓浓的,也是超棒!
Double Meatball (Pork & Fish) Mee Hoon, the soup is so contented & condense... thumbs up too!

有机会试试,看看合不合你口味咯。

潘记糖水 Poon Kee Dessert @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

昨晚天气凉凉的,看到这糖水店就立刻让我想来一碗热腾腾的糖水。感谢阿德林和狼少舍命陪君子,吃了晚餐又吃糖水。。。
It was a rainny and cozy night yesterday, and I immediately felts like wanna have a bowl of nice hot dessert when I saw this shop by chance! Hehe, thanks to Adeline & Wolf's company that allow me to taste this fantastic desserts...
店面,就在 Bistro 32 左近而已,显而易见。

餐厅环境一览,还蛮舒服的 Restaurant's ambience is pretty nice

还有猪肠粉呢,不过这次没有试,因为吃饱了嘛
Got 'Zhu Chiong Fan' somemore, but didn't try this time coz already taken dinner...

我的至爱~ 花生糊。浓郁美味,不会太甜。
Hehe, my favourite peanute paste. Contented and full of peanut aroma, nice!

金瓜西米露,也很清甜香浓
Pumpkin sago dessert. Very tasty too but I prefered mama's one :P

这芒果西米露真的得好好的表扬一下。薄饼细致入口即溶,还带有芒果味哦。这个比MyhoneyMoon 的绝对有过之而无不及!湛!
This Mango Sago Ice Is superb! The thin ice was so fine with mango taste! This is definitely better than the MyHoneyMoon one!

顺手带了两碗糖水回家。这红豆+汤圆也是很棒哦!
Hehe, can't help but to tah bao home also :P  Red bean with rice ball, again, its good!

黑糯米,椰浆味不太浓但对我来讲就刚刚好咯。不错,不错。
Black glutinous rice (ok i donno if the translation is correct =='). The coconut milk taste not too heavy , to me its just fine :) Hehe, also very nice lo!

个人认为价钱是很公道咯(不要和巴刹的比啦)
See, its not even consider expensive (ok dont compare with pasar one please :p)

所以啊, 我绝对会推荐大家来这里光顾,当然也少不了我咯  :)
So, yes, it is worth the visit and I'll definitely revisit again!  :P

蒲种阿嬷的咖喱面 Old Ah Ma's Curry Mee @ Puchong

阿嬷的咖喱面,有着阿嬷的执着
大大碗的,总是料满满,面条多多
阿嬷记性很好,总是记得我爱把蛤蜊搬到妈妈的碗里
总是贴心的问我要放什么料,因为我嘴馋
一把年纪却有着许多年轻人没有的坚持和伸缩性
阿嬷的咖喱面,不但美味,还蕴含着体贴,用心和坚持。。。

There is persistent in Ah Ma's curry noodle
Always full of ingredients, full of noodles
Ah Ma has a good memory, always remember I transferred all the clams to Mum's bowl
Always asking if I want my standard custom choosed ingredients, coz I am bit picky
Age like her has the perseverance and flexibility that you might not be able to found in the youngster nowadays
Beside its tastiness, I can also find Ah Ma's consideration, thoughfulness and perseverance in her curry mee...

第一次吃的时候还真的被它的料给吓着了,分量又多。看,有猪肉丸,鱼片,蛤蜊,豆干,猪皮和叉烧呢!那叉烧很不错,口感和味道和一般的不一样,我蛮喜欢的。
Hmnm.. yummy yummy, its only RM3.80... I found the combination of the ingredients a bit fascinating, coz its just bit wide variety, clams lah, fish cake lah, pork ball lah, char siu lah, pork skin and the 'tau fu bok' (donno what it called ==')
p.s. the char siu kind of tasty oh, slightly different from other stalls' normal char siu, has some homy feel :P

我一贯的吃法,呵呵。。。蛤蜊游去妈妈的碗了。。。
My usual custom ordered curry noodle with wan tan and 'dao fu gon' only, clams swim to mummy's bowl liao...hehehe

注:这咖喱面配生面(云吞面)最棒,当然,米粉面也很可口,不过。。。配粿条就不太好吃(纯属个人意见,觉得她的粿条怪怪的,反正就是不对口。。。)
p.s.: This curry mee best taste with 'sang min' (wantan noodle), and also meehoon mee, but... its kauy teow seriously so so only (donno why lah aja I felt it that way, just doesnt taste right with this curry mee...)

辣椒板面 Chili Ban Mee @ SS2

昨天同事提议来这里试一试这辣辣的辣椒板面,一行人就浩浩荡荡向SS2出发了(和Kayu同一排)。店面不大,而且午餐时间蛮满座的。 菜单很简单,只有干捞/煮水板面、咖喱面,另可加猪肉丸或馄饨和小菜。味道是不错,但这分行的干捞面实在有点少的可怜,所以很顺理成章的我们当然是有加料咯!

Ben suggested to try this chili ban mee for yesterday's lunch, and so here we are, heading to ss2's chili ban mee (same row with Kayu). It has a very simple menu, dry/soup ban mee, curry mee, side order have wan tan soup and meat ball soup. The taste itself is pretty nice, but the portion of this outlet is seriously way too litte, and of course, we ordered the side dishes to fill up our stomach! hehe...

美味的干捞板面,可以自行加调味料和黑酱油(不过不加酱油也已经够味了),当然,还有超辣的辣椒咯! RM5.50 一碗。
板面很有嚼劲,有些人可能会略嫌硬。。。
This is the delicous ban mee, can add in the soy sauce and dark soy sauce as you wish (but in fact its already tasted fine without adding additional soy sauce). Of course, you wouldn't want to miss the super hot chili! (yes, it is very hot, so try not to pour in all before you tried it). RM5.50 per bowl.
Noodle itself is pretty chewish, some people might take it a bit 'hard'...

I guess it is this dried chili that makes the ban mee famous eh? It is indeed very very hot!

肉丸汤,大的一碗RM10,这倒是很值得。。。肉丸新鲜,QQ的,很不错。
meat ball soup, big one @ RM10, pretty much worth the price... the meat balls are fresh and tast delicious too.

馄饨汤,大的也是RM10, 馄饨胖胖的,味道不错哦。
Wantan soup, also RM10 for big one, the wantan is pretty big, tasted good :)

今天恰巧朋友也在蒲种分行(公主城)吃这辣椒板面,板面分量就多很多了。。。
Coincidenlty today my friend also having this chili ban mee at Puchong Bandar Puteri Branch (next to Public Bank), and the dried ban mee's portion is way much bigger...
