豆腐花,豆浆水。。。LIMS Taufufa @ SS2

小时候常听到屋外有阿伯骑着电单车兜售食物,尤其是下午茶时间。。。那个bo bi bo bi bo bi 的喇叭声就像古时候人家‘打更’一样,提醒着下午茶时间到了,再过几个小时老妈就会放工回家了。。。


现在还得自行驾车出去觅食,唉,还真的有点怀念从前。。。


When I was young, when we still stayed at the old kampung house... it used to have different different 'uncle' selling 'bao' & ice cream & roti & junk food & soya etc etc etc by the super motor(super coz there are tons of food hanged on it :P). The 'bi bo bi bo' horn of the motor served as an 'alarm' clock of the day, reminds me that its time for tea time and few hours later mama would be back from work!


Now... we gotto drive out and hunt for the food...sigh... memang miss those days...


八打灵范围内豆花数这家最棒(纯属个人意见。。。),就在SS2麦当劳附近。。。
Hehe, so far this is the best Taufufa around PJ area(ok this is something very personal ok, like Lion Girl said, your taste bud and my taste bud might just different!), just around SS2 McD ...

还有黑豆浆哦

这个中秋节时已经粉墨登场了,不过还是得再次让她滑嫩嫩的肌肤再次亮相,主角之一嘛。。。豆花真的很滑,我通常选放黄糖,不过这家的黄糖有放姜一起煮的。。。也不知道为什么?


有没有人知道为什么要放姜一起煮黄糖啊?


Hehe, tho she already showed face during Mid Autumn Festival, but still gotto let her show face again since she is the topic of the day mah... hehe, see, smooth smooth yummy yummy!



But... did anyone know why they like to cook the yellow sugar with ginger eh? This is not the first stall that having ginger taste in their yellow sugar...

The best taufufa I have tasted so far is still the popular Funny Mountain (near to old Foh San) in Ipoh.
Let's be more arrogant and say: Nothing can beat Ipoh's taufu or taufufa! Hahaha! Got "mountain water" mah!

我也放姜煮红糖也!有原因的吗?

Hahaha.. Lion darling, you memang from Ipoh ah? :P Frankly speaking, hardly taste Ipoh's taufufa even after >10yrs travelling back there. Last trip i tried hor... that one no good :P Next time maybe I shall drive to the old foh san there eh?

dear~ are you working nearby SS2?? hahaha..mayb we hang out in SS2 some other day and do food review in 1 of the cafes or restaurants^^ do u think is this a good idea?? haha..we can get to know each other more too^^

Not really have a sweet tooth but its still my prefered desert.

The ginger in brown sugar is probably because the sugar have some other taste than just sweet that people want to get rid.

在中國醫學當中,吃東西要看個人體質去滋補,例如身體是寒的,就要多吃熱的東西.

豆腐花放姜一般是驅寒,不過有人夏天冰豆花放姜,是想和寒的冰綜合.冬天放姜也是要驅寒囉.

大概的臆測是如此吧.

Lisa, agreed! You picked the cafe/restaurant to try one, preferable weekday after office hour, say, dinner? :P me working at Kelana Jaya, very near ss2 lo.

Wolf... the brown sugar is not suppose to have funny taste woh, it smell so nice!

子平,了解。但是,唉,我们这里的豆花都不是冰的(除非自行放入冰厨),而且我们没有冬天。。。 真的是不明白,可能我们模仿某个国度的一些习惯吧?

這邊金山鴨肉吃的時候會佐姜絲,因為鴨本身是寒的,難道豆花也有可能是寒的,不管是熱或冷豆花,料理過後還是難改豆花本身的性質吧.

The very first time i bought their taufu fa is because of the boy selling it was so leng zai.....

Lol...now change to uncle edi....
